The Healthcare Scholarship Program strengthens the future of the Inland Empire’s healthcare workforce by responding to growing demand for trained professionals and expanding access to education for local students pursuing healthcare careers. As hospitals, clinics, and public health systems continue to grow, financial barriers remain a significant obstacle for many qualified students in our region.
By providing financial support to Inland Empire residents at various stages of their educational journey—from first-time college students to those advancing in specialized training—the program reduces barriers to entry into healthcare fields. These scholarships help build a sustainable pipeline of skilled, compassionate professionals prepared to serve the communities where they live, learn, and ultimately work.

Dr. Robert H. Joseph Memorial Scholarship
The Dr. Robert H. Joseph Memorial Scholarship honors the legacy of Dr. Robert H. Joseph, a dedicated ophthalmologist who was committed to advancing healthcare and improving patient outcomes. This special award is open to ALL scholarship applicants; all scholarship applicants will be considered for this award. No separate application is needed.
College Pathways Scholarship
This fund provides recognition and financial support to graduating high school students currently attending Inland Empire high schools who want to pursue a career in any healthcare profession within Southern California.
Technical Education Pathways Scholarship
This fund provides recognition and financial support to graduating high school students currently attending Inland Empire high schools who want to pursue a career in any allied healthcare profession within Southern California.
Continuing Education Pathways Scholarship
This fund provides recognition and financial support to adults in the Inland Empire region of Southern California who are pursuing or continuing their education in any healthcare field, whether at a community college, university, trade school, vocational program, or certification course.
