Ripple Effect Workshops

Ripple Effect: Big Feelings, Kind Choices is an interactive presentation for students in grades 1–5 that helps children understand their emotions and make healthy, thoughtful choices when big feelings show up.

At the heart of the presentation is a simple tool students can remember and use throughout their day: Notice It. Name It. Map It. Students learn to notice the feelings and sensations happening in their bodies, name the emotion they may be experiencing, and map out healthy choices for what they can do next. Through engaging stories, activities, and guided conversation, we explore these skills together in a way that feels approachable, practical, and relevant to elementary-aged students.

Each presentation is approximately 30 minutes and can be facilitated for an individual classroom or an entire grade level at once. Our team comes to your school and leads the full experience, giving students practical tools they can carry with them into the classroom, onto the playground, and into their everyday interactions.

When students learn to understand what they’re feeling, they are better equipped to choose what comes next—and those choices can create a ripple of kindness throughout an entire school community.
