Ripple Effect Workshops
Ripple Effect Workshops
How thoughts, emotions, and actions shape our schools and communities
Our Ripple Effect Workshops help students understand how their feelings guide their choices and how kindness can create a ripple effect in their schools and communities. Using interactive stories and reflective discussions, students practice emotional regulation, empathy, and respectful communication—skills that prevent unkind behaviors like bullying before they start. By learning to recognize and respond to emotions with kindness, students strengthen peer connections, support mental and emotional well-being, and become positive agents of change in their communities.
Learning Objectives
By the end of the workshop, students will be able to:
- Define the concept of a Ripple and explain its impact on others
- Differentiate between kind and unkind choices using real-life examples
- Identify and label a range of emotions through guided activities
- Demonstrate basic self-regulation strategies (e.g., breathing, pausing, positive self-talk)
- Describe at least one action they can take to create a positive ripple in their school or community
Group Size: Individual classrooms and small groups (up to 60 students)
Length: 30 minutes
